Babysitting

I was all excited. Saturday night i was babysitting the nephews. I don't get to spend a lot of time with them, so babysitting is a fun thing for me. I arrive at 6:00, ring the door bell, and position myself so Anders doesn't come running out when the door opens. My brother-in-law, Mark, opens the door, come on in. I can hear a small "hello" in the back ground. I peer around the corner to my sister and Axel sitting at the dinner table eating. Where's Anders? He feel asleep at 4:30 and hasn't woken up. They tried to wake him up and he didn't want to get up. So they put on a pull-up and some pjs. They left about 6:20 and it was just Axel and me. He's very good about entertaining himself. You just have to keep an eye on him so he doesn't eat too much toilet paper, if Kleenex or tissue paper are laying around he'd eat that too. About 7:00 he looked up at me and lifted his arms. I picked him up and thought this was a good opportunity to put on the pjs. I laid him down on the changing table and his legs went straight up in the air. A good indication that he is ready to be changed and go to bed. By 7:15 he was dead to the world, Anders was snoring, and I was sitting watching "Firefly" on dvd. Talk about an easy night of babysitting. I'll have to remember this for the next time, when they'll probably both be running around the house screaming all night long.

too bad you didn't get much play time, but you are fortunate to live in the same city as your little guys. :)
