Another opening day has come and gone... although according to Major League Baseball it's now "Opening Week". a longer celebration, i guess.
Monday was an exciting game. After an almost hour rain delay the game got going, only to be delayed again in the third for another 50 minutes. It was a nice rain delay, stood and chatted with all my co-seat owners that i don't talk to in the off-season.
It's nice to know that the new guy can hit... maybe he needs to teach the "old" guys how to do it. Both closers were in rare form for the game. Unfortunately it did end with the Cubs losing. Ah! opening day... at least it wasn't snowing.
